Managed Service Provider Previder, with locations in Hengelo and Vianen, is acquiring Global-e ICT solutions & Global-e Datacenter. With this acquisition of the company in Rijen, North Brabant, Previder increases its presence in the Netherlands. Not only in the middle and east, but also in the south of our country, this will enable us to better serve our customers with our extensive IT portfolio. The 35 employees of Global-e ICT solutions & Global-e Datacenter and the organization’s customer base will be acquired by Previder.
The decision to expand in Southern Netherlands strengthens Previder’s position as a Managed Service Provider in the Netherlands. “Global-e ICT solutions & Global-e Datacenter was the right choice for several reasons. First of all, their services match those of Previder. As a Cisco and Microsoft partner, they have successfully served the local market for many years with their cloud, infrastructure and security solutions, hosted from two of their own high-end data centers. There is also a cultural match. The no-nonsense culture, personal approach and passion to serve the customer optimally are shared values,” says Arno Witvliet, CEO at Odin Group, Previder’s parent organization.
Global-e ICT solutions & Global-e Datacenter will continue under the Previder name, but nothing will change for its employees and customers. “Customers will keep the same contacts and support, however, they will be able to use a broader and proven portfolio of IT services supported from Previder. This allows Previder to offer its customers the benefits of scale and innovations from three locations in the Netherlands. The employees of Global-e ICT solutions & Global-e Datacenter will continue to provide services and will have room for their ambitions and personal development within Previder,” said Witvliet.
With this acquisition, the departure of Ad Hapers, director Global-e ICT solutions & Global-e Datacenter, is also announced. “After more than 35 years it is time for me to say goodbye to the wonderful but also hectic IT world. In doing so, it is important to make sure that Global-e, its employees as well as its customers, are well placed. Fortunately, we have found the perfect match in Odin Group and Previder so I can announce my departure with peace of mind.”
